In addition to our personalized music and MC services, we offer a number special additions to enhance your reception. Uplighting and other lighting effects create the perfect ambiance for your wedding. Floor wraps make all the difference to transform your traditional dance floor. If you want to come in with a bang, spark machines will captivate your guests. For a more dreamy effect, our fog machine will have you feeling like you’re dancing in the clouds. Our photo booths will let your guests remember this special day forever.

Meet DJ Rod Bell

Over the years, DJ Rod Bell has gathered amazing experiences in DJing in a wide range of settings across the world. With a high-energy, positive personality and a passion to entertain, this 20-year veteran is one of the tri-state area’s favorite DJs.

DJ Rod Bell’s experience began at the nightclub scene, where he created one of the most influential international parties in Philadelphia, Ambiance Zouk. From there, he started to receive more and more requests to do private events, thus, Rod Bell DJ Services was born. His business has grown to include gatherings such as weddings, Sweet 16’s, baby showers, and corporate events. Some of these events were quite large and held 500+ people in attendance. Rod’s love for people genuinely makes him enjoy the process of getting to know each individual client, in order to deliver the best possible experience for their event. He takes the core values of Rod Bell DJ Services to heart, which are integrity, respect, accountability, and excellence. This versatile and fun-loving DJ is delighted to rock any dance floor!

DJ Rod Bell is the best DJ in the Philadelphia area! He stands in a class all his own. I’ve been fortunate enough to listen to him at Center City clubs and at private house parties. We hired him to provide all the music and entertainment at our wedding reception and he more than delivered. Five years later we’re still getting compliments on the music and dancing at our wedding! He kept our family and friends on the dance floor for hours! DJ ROD BELL listened to our playlist suggestions and brought some great ideas of his own. He has an extensive library and he’s very professional. He knew how to run the party timeline and work with the venue organizers. On top of his skill, Rod is just a very genuine and kind person. He’s calm and honest and sets your mind at ease. One less thing to worry about for planning a big event!

Can we customize packages?

Yes. The packages were created to help simplify your choices, however, they can be customized to better fit your vision.

Do you take song requests?

Yes, as long as they are approved by the Bride and Groom.

Do we need to fill out our wedding checklist?

Yes, this is mandatory, as it outlines everything we need to go over to ensure the wedding goes smoothly.

How many songs should I put on my playlist?

As many as you wish, however, we strongly suggest limiting the number to about 30 songs. This will ensure your absolute favorite songs will be played. This will also give the DJ a good sense of your music genre preferences and will give them the room to input their creative expertise.

We are new to weddings and are not quite sure which songs to pick for our ceremony. Can you help?

Yes! Based off of our experience, we will provide recommendations.

What time do you typically arrive before the event?

We arrive an hour prior to the event to give time to unload our equipment and set up for the event.
