Cancellation & Refund Policy
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
The contract is not valid until a signed copy and the booking fee have been received. Rod Bell DJ Services may schedule another event on the same date and time if no deposit or contract are received. Once the signed contract is received, the client has 72 hours to change their minds, after which the booking fee is non-refundable. We accept Venmo, Cash App, cash, or checks.
Once the contract is signed, any services paid for will be:
Fully refunded (minus the initial booking fee) if cancelled more than 181 days prior to the event;
- 50% refunded (minus the initial booking fee) if cancelled between 91 to 180 days prior to the event;
- 25% refunded (minus the initial booking fee) if cancelled between 45 to 90 days prior to the event;
- Not refunded if cancelled less than 44 days prior to the event.
- All cancellations must be received in writing by letter or email and confirmed.
For “Rain or Shine” events, compensation is not affected by inclement weather. Rod Bell DJ Services may stop the event if weather poses a potential threat to themselves, the equipment, or guests. However, every effort will be made to continue the event, and compensation will not be affected by such cancellations.
If the event is cancelled by the client due to inclement weather on the day of the event, the client will be given a credit for the booked service to be used for another date.
